Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Freight Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess specific experience in freight sales and a true passion for growing business. This role will begin as a temporary opportunity (40 hours a week) and will convert to a permanent team member for the right candidate. Applicants must have freight sales experience and must be comfortable working 100% remote. Our company is based in Chicago, Illinois.

Duties:
-Generate and expand business and by converting leads to clients in line with sales goals and expectations

-Build robust pipeline of prospects and establish relationships with key contacts

-Conduct sales activities to drive revenue growth

-Provide exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships

Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions

Required Skills:
– Proven experience selling in the freight industry
– Strong phone etiquette and public speaking skills
– Experience in sales support and customer service
– Outstanding client management skills, presence and communication
– Ability to use sales software effectively
