Are you ready to take your warehouse skills to the next level? Everest Recruiting is seeking a dedicated and experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk II for a leading manufacturing facility in San Marcos. This full-time, 1st shift position offers $18.50/hour and the opportunity to make a real impact. 

Shift:
1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control Coordination: Ensure that all incoming goods meet the highest quality standards.
  • Order Processing: Manage paperwork and logistics for production orders and shipments.
  • Inventory Management: Use JD Edwards and Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory.
  • Customs Compliance: Adhere to C-TPAT procedures for all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily checks on forklifts and pallet jacks for safety and efficiency.
  • Order Verification: Double-check shipments against pick tickets for accuracy.
  • Loading & Staging: Prepare large and international shipments, ensuring everything is palletized and loaded correctly.
  • Internal Delivery: Move goods around the company campus with precision.
  • Supply Management: Keep shipping supplies fully stocked and ready for action.
  • Training: Help train junior clerks and seasonal staff to keep the team running smoothly.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety standards, participate in training, and report any concerns.

What You Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse or shipping environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in operating pallet jacks and forklifts.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic math and computer skills for warehouse tasks.
