Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates for repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service. This role requires a strong understanding of auto body repair processes and excellent customer service skills to facilitate smooth interactions with clients and insurance companies.

Duties
– Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
– Prepare detailed estimates using auto estimating software.
– Communicate with customers regarding repair options, timelines, and costs.
– Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate assessments of repairs.
– Handle cash transactions and manage payments efficiently.
– Maintain records of estimates and repairs for billing purposes.
– Provide guidance on vehicle maintenance and repair services.
– Assist in sales efforts by promoting additional services offered by the shop.
– Stay updated on industry trends, dealership practices, and new technologies in automotive service.

Skills
– Experienced with insurance claims for body damage
– Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and vehicle maintenance.
– Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions.
– Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
– Experience in automotive service management is a plus.
– Sales acumen to promote services effectively to customers.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
– Familiarity with oil change processes and general automotive service practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,500.00 – $75,000.00 per year
