Our client is seeking candidates to manage the day-to-day business and academic activities of their learning centers. As a Managing Director, your focus is to provide superb customer service that leads to all students in the center having an exceptional experience each day.

What your typical workday looks like:

• Overseeing parent conferences and the enrollment process
• Comfortable discussing and collecting tuition on programs upon enrolling students
• Managing center operations including payroll, budgeting, goals, and planning
• Confident and assertive communication skills with a professional and flexible demeanor
• Providing excellent customer service when engaging with students, parents, and the community
• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising part-time teachers
• Interacting with parents regarding program, scheduling, and tuition concerns
• Acting as the “face” of the center by greeting all students and parents as they arrive for appointments
• Managing office administrative duties and center staff
• Conducting initial student evaluations and working with new students
• Working with students in an instructional capacity as needed
• Participating in local marketing activities to help grow your center’s tutoring and test prep business

Competencies:

• A four-year degree, preferably in business, management, entrepreneurship, or related field
• Retail Sales or Food Service experience
• Evidence of one to two years of professional leadership experience
• The ability to work long days in a fast paced, client-driven, goal-oriented environment
• Work Schedule of Monday through Thursday 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Off on Friday and Sunday)
• An enthusiastic, outgoing, and team-oriented personality
• The motivation and compassion to ensure that a student’s time is valuable
• Confident and assertive communication skills with a professional and flexible demeanor
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
