Our client is presently searching for a full-time Production Associate to work in a fast paced environment. As a member of our client’s team, your patience, good listening skills, attention to detail and overall positive presence are the foundation for providing and quality work.
The Production Associate will be responsible for working in a warehouse environment, excellent eye hand coordination, ability to work in a team environment.
Job Duties:
  • To make bags / liners of a high quality at a reasonable rate
  • Operate machinery to competent level in a safe manner
  • Make hand fabricated bags of a high quality at a reasonable rate when required
  • Hand cut material of correct grade to dimensions specified on job sheet when required
  • Undertake any task assigned by supervisor and / or manager
  • Following written instructions on job sheets
  • Populate job sheet accurately
  • Ensuring material provided is of the right dimensions and the correct material grade
  • Setting machinery to the right temperature and parameters and using efficiently
  • Checking the quality of own work – carry out outlined testing as per given training
  • When work is complete and checked, placing the required number in boxes
  • Completing accurate time sheets legibly
  • Operate ‘tidy as you go’ policy
  • Ensuring that own work is completed safely and the immediate working area complies with Health and Safety rules
  • Measure, weigh and count products / materials
  • Secure pallets with stretch wrap and straps
  • Ensure correct shipping labels are present
  • Keeping logs and paperwork up to date
  • Maintaining a well-organized, clean and tidy work area
  • Regular lifting of up to around 70.lbs
  • Quality Control
  • Adhoc tasks as required around the warehouse

Hours:  Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
