Everest Recruiting is currently seeking key sales professionals for a leading contract electrical contractor based out of Florida. They also have experience in voice/data contracting and extensive design-build experience.

We are seeking experienced sales professionals with experience in heavy commercial and industrial electrical construction.

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and implement sales strategies to maximize market share and margin.
  • Developing and monitoring growth plans, marketing programs, training.
  • Plan and implement sales strategies to grow the project business.
  • Generate cross-selling leads and make it easier to do business with Industrial Solutions.
  • Conduct training presentations
  • Provide training, joint sales calls and applications support. Understand Trade Area and identify distribution targets for conversion.
  • Introduce new products to existing customer base and identify target customers.
  • Meet or exceed assigned volume and margin measurements.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales leadership.
  • Track sales leads, wins and losses in CRM system, perform analysis on hit-rate data.
  • Identify new customers and create customer profiles to understand ABB’s position.
  • Participate in industry and local construction organizations to build relationships.

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in sales.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical industry and products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical / engineering is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with distributors, electrical contractors.
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal development skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Strong coordination and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs.
  • Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools.
